  We liked the manager Elisabeth/?/- helpful, speaking good English. The rest of staff was less efficient. The hotel map is very helpful, except a few confusing mistakes: 14 is Guggenheim, not Goldoni, 13 is wrong too. Please, review your map. - location was good.   If you are looking for a charming but not luxurious place to sleep out of the high traffic district of Venice, this hotel fits your needs. Our room on the top floor overlooked a quite scenic canal. There was no lift so we had to climb a couple flights of stairs. It is a convenient base for experiencing Venice.
