  The room (room 106 on first floor), was big and light with two big windows overlooking the canal, one of which opened out onto a small balcony.The bed was two beds pushed together and may be a bit firm for some people. The en-suite bathroom was a good size and had WC, bidet, large sink, jacuzzi bath (normal size) plus tiled - This hotel was absolutely stunning! We had the junior suite with a canal view and it was amazing! The room was beautifully decorated! This hotel room, experience and location was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend it! Even though the junior suite is a bit more money than the regular rooms, if you are wanting to treat yourself while in Italy for a couple days, I would definitely spend the extra money on this room!!   The hotel is basic but really good value for money. The decor is dated but is really clean and tidy. We had cleaners come into the room daily swept moped and clean towels and sheets. The hotel is basically on the front of the canal about 1min walk from san marco square.   We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... It was wonderful to be able to walk to and fro to San Marco's Square and despite the close proximity, the price was very reasonable. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plenty and delicious. They provided locked up baggage servic - The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. The room looked just like the photo on the website and
