  The location in the neighbourhood of the Salute church is ideal. When arriving with the vaporetto at the stops of Academia or Zattere, you can go with your luggage trolley to this B&B without CLIMBING over one bridge, just roll ! The street is residential and excessively quiet. This B&B is situated in a small old Palazzo, beautyfully furni... wat mensen zeggen » shed. The reception by the lady of the house was very friendly and ...she helps you with the luggage over the (steep) stairs ! The room and the bathro - Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly, telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo Spirito was fairly good value for city.

  This hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Venice, above the Tod's store. For those who love to shop or window shop its a great location near all the designer stores, and very close to St Mark's Square and the Accademia. We received a warm welcome and were ve - The location is amazing and all seights are within a short walking distance. This is a family run, apartment kind of hotel with no reception. You ring the bell and sign in in the upper communal area. Our friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like animals. This one didnt mind and everyone was allowed to join the communal area. We were even allowed to stay longer when we runned late for the check out witho

  Location - central to everything we did. Staff was top notch in everything with recommendations, directions, service. Loved the old-world feel of the place. Room was kept very clean. Loved the breakfast outside in the morning and people watching in the square. - I loved the Venetian decor, chandelier, hand painted furniture, corded drapes.   As many reviewers comment, the entrance is sparse at best. The entrance is no indication of the hotel once you get up the stairs. We aren't sure why some reviewers comment harshly on the stairs... It is Venice and there are stairs in just about every hotel! The rooms are fairly simple. The college age staffers in the morning and the evening were v... wat mensen zeggen » ery friendly. The location of this hotel is exceptional! It was a two minute walk to St. Mark's square (once we got oriented) which allowed us to visi - Location was perfect. Nice to be able to put all 5 of us in one room. Staff were very easy to work with and accomodated some special requests and made good recommendations for dinner, sight-seeing, etc.. - Great location-close to everything. Staff was very helpful and informative. Kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great on the patio. Do have to climb a lot of stairs (no elevator) but very nice place.
