  Right in the heart of Florence, this hotel is in an amazing spot. Just a short walk (up a little street and across the square) and you are at the Ufizzi Museum, after having passed all the restaurants. The rooms are furnished with basic furniture, yet amazingly comfortable-we had a table with 2 chairs, wardrobe, bed, and two bedside tables in ours... wat mensen zeggen » . We also had a near new bathroom, with some of the other rooms being renovated while we were there. Fast, strong wifi, and very friendly, helpful sta - We couldn't have hoped to have lived at a better hotel, particularly from the point of view of its location, literally a few steps from the piazza della signoria and the palazzo vecchio (and also extremely close to nearby attractions such as the uffizi, bargello and ponte vecchio). The hotel itself is quite wonderful, and our room was clean and more than adequate for our purposes. We'd chosen the 'private bathroom outside the room' option, and it ended up being only a minor issue (if at all).

  We had a great week in Florence and our stay at this hotel (6 nights) made the experience all the more enjoyable. Perfect location - just a few steps from Piazza Santa Maria Novella, and a lazy 5-minute walk from the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. The bathroom was amazing, compact space but far from cramped, fantastic shower, daily bio (which was a really nice surprise - I have spent 7 nights in the hotel Sole. The hotel has a perfect location: 5 minutes to a train station Santa Maria Novella and 5 minutes to Duomo. It is situated right in the city sentrum what makes it a perfect place both for these people who came to Florence for exploring the city for several days and who came to do shopping. Stuff is very friendly. Everyone speaks english and tries to help when it's needed. My room and bathroom were cleaned every day and towels were changed when I needed. A

  This is right in front of the cathedral/ museum across the railway station. Free WiFi is included even if it was not mentioned on our booking. The lady at the reception did not speak or understand English well, but was very helpful. She carried our luggage up the flight of stairs and was always cheerful. At a walk- able distance to the main piazzas and the Duomo. - We got the four person room, which was very affordable. The location was good and the room was decent. The towel I rented for 2 euros looked like a blanket so I wasn't happy, but it actually worked really well.
