  Excellent location, very nice owner, nice and tidy room with a terrace - perfect for breakfast. Breakfasts with fresh croissant, cornflakes, milk, tosts, jam and honey every morning, access to the fully-equipped kitchen all day long. Slight problems with warm water first night - but next day morning fixed by owner. It has 3 room and 8 people capacity, and 2 bathrooms. so we did not have any problem in sharing bathrooms and kitchen. also breakfast was on time and delicious.

Maids kept on top of the rooms, which were very large and had every ammenity, including tea/coffee etc.Very friendly atmosphere, we were even brought flowers and given chocolates every evening.   When embarking on our first trip to Europe this summer, we decided to use B&B's as opposed to hotel chains during our travels, hoping to get a more personal and private experience. Upon arrival we were welcomed into the "home base" of the establishment and shown to our quarters across the street in another building. Staff were helpful but only spoke Italian but we were able to communicate through miming and some broken Italian/English.

The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

You can see the Roman Colosseum from the window of the Michelangelo Room. The breakfast was included and the staff and food downstairs were fantastic.   It was a good location but difficult to find. We needed better directions since no one we asked and our gps were not helpful in finding the street address. The 2 staff members there were pleasant, very helpful and kind, Breakfast was amazing and they even set the dining room breakfast up early for us because we had to leave early for our flight. -... wat mensen zeggen » The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The recommendations for sights and places to eat given to us by Marco were great; we wouldn’t have found many of what became our favourites without them. The location was in a quiet and beautiful part of town just a 15 minute walk from the city centre.
