  The staff were really really great!!! They allowed us to store our bags with them for 3 days while we travelled to the Cinque Terre. They were really helpful in advising us things to do in Genoa and places to go for dinner (the rec for Soho was great! Probably the best meal we had!) It's a typical European room (i.e., small bedroom, small bathroom... wat mensen zeggen » ), but it had AC (which was necessary) and the hotel is in a great location, only a minute to Via Garibaldi and 5 or so mins to Piazza de Ferrari and - The hotel's central location in Genoa was its biggest benefit. Walking distance from the main train station, and very accessible to all that the old city of Genoa has to offer. Plenty of food options close by, as well as the funicular to the surrounding areas. The quirky retro feel of the hotel with original art was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely clean and all staff/owners very polite and helpful.

  Very good customer service by the reception staff particularly Chiara. Most of the time, she is manning the reception by herself and delivers excellent job professionally with friendly manner. It helped me to be relaxed in a strange city. Her English is excellent and did her best to explain. All questions asked were answered being new in Genoa. It... wat mensen zeggen » makes a huge difference of knowing what to do, explore and direction given. I made my return trip to Le Spezia and explored Cinque Terre - Riomaggior - The best Holiday Inn hotel that I ever stayed in . Everything is fantastic and it is underrated, in comparison it can take over many, many 5* hotels. I normally not writing reviews after my holidays (only if it was really bad or excellent... ) but this hotel and all his staff are deserved a lot more than my words!! Congratulation! I promised myself that next time I will stay in Genoa in the same hotel without a doubt and I hope for more than a night... It's location is perfect for those which
