  We loved absolutely everything about this place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered us to check in the early morning of the day of booking without extra charge -- this was really nice after a night trip by train, since we got a chance to take a shower, take a short nap, leave our bags there and set on a sightseeing trip... wat mensen zeggen » around Rome. By the way, the location is absolutely perfect. It's on a rather quiet street right next to the Colosseum and a metro station with a goo - perfect location and staff very friendly .... went out of their way to make our stay better.. cant fault staff thank you so much for all your help... room had lovely terrace... situated feet away from colosseum ... great location. shops restaurants on door step.. must stay here it is delightful... rooms very clean, light and airy and staff amazing.. if in Rome you must stay here... fabulous....   I adored this hotel. From the moment we booked we received conformation emails from the owners, and then nearer the time, further emails to check if we required a taxi -- which we did and everything was booked and made simple for us. We we arrived the staff were ever so friendly. They gave us information about where we were and the nearest "big at... wat mensen zeggen » tractions" if you will. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The room was pretty classic, it won't blow your mind but lets be honest -- if you're - The staff at Locanda Colossea was excellent. They were extremely helpful, and it was great to actually have someone at the front desk during the day. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff even gave us a bottle of wine from the family vineyard (which was a very good wine!). The location was also very good, just minutes from the Colosseum and the Forum. The breakfast was served at a cafe two doors down, and there were several choices including eggs.   Unfortunately we had problems with other booking so we did reservation in Residence the same evening we arrived. The reception has been already closed but manager came from home to organize check in.   All was perfect! We spent our honeymoon there and, as a surprise, we get un upgrade to Moliere Suite (superior suite) with a bouquet of red tulips with wishes from staff and chocolate hearts. The suites are located in a walking distance from the main building and these one was located at a calm street with the window at the street. Thanks for Colosseo Teatro Relai - The location is very central and close to Cavour metro station. Colosseum is also 5-10 minutes walk away. Everyday the room was cleaned and the linen changed. We had the standard double room but it was more than we expected as it offered great comfort. Finally, before our arrival the hotel reception contacted us and gave ususeful information on how to find the hotel location. We are extremely happy to have stayed that as the stay was pleasant.

  We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! Located right in the heart of Rome - literally 5min walk or less from the Colosseum and so close to everything else it was perfect - we walked everywhere! Though if you need the Metro is right there. The rooms were spotless - beaitifully decorated and such a comfy bed and was mad - It was really good standard. Great location with a nice square with a fountain around the corner and a view over colosseum. Nearby alot of sightseeing and a Metro station around the corner. 15 min walk to Termini. The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet. Comfortable beds and alot of space. We were in the suite so we also hade a fridge and a little pentry. Good cleaning eve

  This is a perfect place to stay for your trip to Rome. The location is perfect - 3 mins to the Forum, 15 mins walking from Termini railway staitaion, etc.. We used the metro just once, to get to Vatican. It is a nice, small family owned place. There are just 4 rooms there. The design of the rooms is perfect: very functional, there's everything yo... wat mensen zeggen » u need, it's nice and cosy, and you feels that everything is almost brand-new, including bathroom facilities. The breakfast was nice. The owner is ver - This little place is gorgeous, well located in a quiet little street near via Cavour with an excellent restaurant across the street. I was met by a gorgeous man, Leone, who despite my late arrival was really nice. The only criticism was that the promised breakfast was really bad, so don't depend on it. The area is well serviced by other bars etc, so eat breakfast out. Just make sure you avoid Gran Caffe Cavour, in via Cavour, as a coffee there will set you back more than 6.60euro!!!!
