  Staff are very friendly and speak good English. Room rate is very good 35 euros a night for two people with breakfast and some free wine on the night! - Well placed for a stop while travelling from southern Italy to Paris. Lovely location even though i never managed to enjoy it

  The staff were very friendly. It was very well located as an overnight stop, being so close to the motorway. It was very convenient to have a good evening meal in the hotels restaurant, which was reassuringly full of locals. - The location of the Hotel was very good with its own restaurant onsite.   The hotel is located just next to the Bard Castle, in the medieval village (or street) of Bard. It is a quality hotel, with a nice small spa just next to the hotel building. The restaurant was also very good. - Althouh the room is quite small one manages very well to enjoy the stay in this part of Italy
