  There are many 5 stars hotels in Florence. Il Salviatino is definitly the most special of them all. It's comfort, beauty, luxury, perfect location, and hospitality goes beyond any other experience. We stayed three nights there and longed to stay much longer. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

Even though we arrived at 8.30 pm which is half an hour later than usual checkin time that was not a problem. Recommended to people who would like to travel to Florance and stay in a nice hotel.   I can't say enough about the Orlando Palace Apartments. First, they are actually apartments. You have a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and full kitchen. There's even a dishwasher and washing machine! Everything was spotless, and the keyed entry pad into the building was wonderful- no extra keys to carry around.
