She was so wonderful to us! We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time, we had planned to just drop our bags and come back later. She said since our room was not ready (I didn't expect it to be) that we could have a different, larger room. It was a wonderful surprise! It seems that every where we had stayed prior was a little small and cramped, but this room was so huge and spacious, it felt great to be able to stretch out and breathe!   My daughter and I spent four days at the porcellini gallery and we had a fabulous time. The staff especially the lovely Aldo couldn't do enough for us nothing was too much trouble. The place is small, unique and beautiful and so far removed from big corporate hotels if you are looking for something different this is your place. Breakfast was fresh pastries, juice and fruit and there was a fridge where you - Porcellino Gallery is a real gem. A small boutique hotel (only 5 rooms). All with recently completed redecorations and an upscale flair. Each room having a different theme. Location is excellent. Near to all key attractions in Florence. Owners and staff were very cordial and helpful in all regards. Made us feel totally welcome and appreciated. We were very pleased with our stay and would very definitely go back.
