I liked the fact each facility and object in the room and kitchen were intended to make the client experience better. I liked the clean and simple room, with enough space to move around a little, the excelent wifi signal, the small cozy kitchen available for the guest, and most of all, the friendly and always helpfull attitude of the staff. I wil go back there with my family, because it is also suitable for a family experience. The room had air conditioning and heating adjustable from the room,. alle beoordelingen »
The room was spacious, well designed and clean. The air-conditioning worked well and the wifi was fast.
There was a communal kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, and sink. Coffee and tea were free.
The owner was very nice and friendly. We could leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out.
The location was good as it's very close to the Florence SM train station. Even though the rooms are on the 1st floor, the owner helped us with the luggage so that's not a problem.
It's definitel.
It is a good place to stay. It is close to train station and not to hard to find if you watch out the label. It is economic. They also provide basic kitchen things, it is helpful. Althoug there is no lift, i think that is not a big problem, you only need to move your luggage to the first floor. We stay in Albergo Bencidormi for two nights and move to san gimignano, we are so thankful they let us stay our luggages there. The owers are so kind and helpful. This is a B&B we strongly suggested.
The room was quiet, a real boon. The location was close to anything you wanted to walk to. Roberto, the owner, was terrific with help, as was his assistant. He recommended the restaurant downstairs which was so good, we went twice. He was so personable, speaking of Florence that he had known for years. And although we never used it, there was a little shared kitchen and a shared computer. BTW, don't miss the Palazzo Davanti if you have any interest in how they lived in the Renaissance.
The location was great - just a short walk from Santa Maria train station and a 5 minute walk to Duomo and Galleria dell'Academia. Very close to cafes, bars, gelato, restaurants and shopping. The owner and the staff were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. The room was big, the bed comfy and the bathroom clean and with all amenities. I liked that the hotel had a kitchen with an espresso machine. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Very nice room (number 7) tucked at the back & window opened onto a quiet parking area. Great location as we were only 10 minutes away from the main square & easy to get around - plus 2 great retaurants (Trattoria Enzo & Piero and Neroni Pizzeria) nearby & an amazing church only 30 odd metres away (church only open Sat mornings). Our host was great & really helpful - being a dorm (private rooms & not a hotel) try to advise your arrival time in advance.
Good wifi. The kitchen facilities were excellent with tea and coffee provided, fridge and microwave and all the dishes and utensils . The staff were very friendly. I hadnt expected it to be like a hostel but it was one floor up dark stairs to a modern and attractive set of rooms . Ours had windows opening above a busy lane with cafes etc below. It was lively but quietened down at about 11. Goodaircon and double glazing . Handy to everything.
Cute, chic hotel in a great location! Five minute walk to the train station and close to all the main attractions. Communal kitchen which was well equipped and spotless! The free wifi was great, plus there was a computer to use for free too!! Roberto who runs Albergo Bencidormi was so approachable, helpful and friendly!! He was always more than happy to answer our questions and have a chat. Thanks Roberto!! Would highly recommend!.
Amazing stay. We had a wonderful day. Although breakfast is not
available as this is like an apartment with shared kitchen, there is a
cheap cafe at the corner of the street for breakfast. Alberto is such
a nice guy.
And when we left the hotel, we left behind our daughter's fav blanket. Alberto help us packed and mailed it back to our home.
Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be back.
We booked this hostel at a very last minute seeing that it received positive reviews and price are reasonable. The hostel is really a nice one and deserved so many positive review for its location and cleanliness. The neighbourood is really good with a lot of delicious restaurants and it is only 15 minutes away from the Florence SMN station. Worth the price and the host is very friendly.
We had an excellent experience at this hotel. Centrally located and close to the train station, it was very convenient and in a great neighbourhood. The staff were great. Helping us with our luggage when we arrived and upon check out. When I had forgotten my purse at the hotel, the manager ran to the train station to find me. Very lovely and warm people. Highly recommend.
Roberto the owner of the accomodation made our stay extremely comfortable and was very welcoming. The accomodation was fantastic, clean, and central to all the wonderful sights of Florence. Rooms are spacious, with good showers. Some great restaurants and bars within metres. Florence is a very easy city to walk around so no need to really use public transport.
Owner was so friendly and greeted us right upon the arrival time that had been discussed through email. Offered suggestions for visiting in the city and the best gelato. Great location near train station and on street with plenty of restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere. Our room was bright and airy and we had a great stay. Will definitely return!.
Great location, walking distance to almost every attraction. Two blocks
away from train station and metro. The room was extremely clean,
spacious, modern, cool air conditioned. No breakfast is offered, but
there is a kitchen were you can prepare your coffee. Roberto the owner
is very nice as well as Debbie the receptionist.
Roberto was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and is great to have the kitchen facilities and PC for guest use. The hiotel is very convenient to the train station and major tourist sites ( we walked everywhere). The bathroom had a heated towel rail - great fresh towels and dried my socks!.
Walking distance from city centre, station and major attractions, yet the room was cool and quiet. Owner very friendly and helpful. Nice modern decoration and very comfortable bed. Free use of kitchen facilities, including fridge, coffee machine and tea. Free WiFI.
Roberto was a great host and had everything in place upon our arrival. The room was spotless and the furnishings were new. The hotel was in a great location, near to the train station. Everything you would want to see is within walking distance.
Great owners in Roberta and Paola. Good sized rooms, clean and bright.
Location was perfect as it was close to the market and 15 minute walk to
the river yet very quiet at night. I will always go back to this place
when visiting Florence.
The location was excellent, very close to the train station and an easy walk to all of the main sites in Florence. The room was fit for purpose and there was a kitchen and computer for use by the guests, as well as free and fast wifi.
Staff were lovely, room nice and clean and a reasonable size. Great location only minutes walk from everything and a readable restaurant just next door. Shared kitchen but no tea and coffee facilities or fridge in room.
10 The hotel is very clean
2) The staff is extremely friendly and helpful
3) Location, close to the center and also close to the main railway station
4) You can have a coffee or tea in a sort of kitchen.
Very good location (near train station and main sightseeings), quiet and
comfortable place, hotel provides a kitchenette with all you may need to
cook (however we did not use it).
The shared kitchen is very convenient. There wasn't breakfast provided, but I had the beef stomach sandwiches in the Centrale Market. So great and so near.
Roberto is kind and friendly.
The place is clean and there's a pantry area which is convenient for anyone who plan to stay for a long period of time.
Great location and everything was spotless and thoughtfully organized. Decorations were wonderful as well, and the room was very quiet.
Fantastic location, staff are very friendly and help full. Has a well equipped kitchen and small dinning room which is very handy.
5 mins from train station.
7-10mins walk to Duomo. Plenty eateries nearby.
Nice host, happy staying there and will be back again.
Friendly staffs and very helpful, love the kitchenette! Supermarket and the nice indoor market were 2-3 mins walking distance!.
I liked the presence of the kitchen and posibility to use computer when needed. The place was clean and easy to find.
Very friendly and helpful staff (Paula and Robertho)
Kitchen was well equipped and there was a coffee maker as well.
Perfect location-walking distance to everywhere. The owner is very helpful. Room 3 was very clean and big enough.
The receptionist is very friendly and warmly lift your baggage to the room . The room is clean and comfortable.
Very friendly staff. Location is great. Room is very clean and comfortable. Guests can cook by themselves.
No complaints at all!!! This is the place to stay when you visit Florence! Special thanks to Roberto!.
Very clean and a good kitchen area if you wanted to make your own meals, and free espresso and tea.
Great location and super helpful staff. Use of kitchen and internet access was greatfully received.
Walkable to the train station and throughout Florence. Very clean and staff was very friendly.
Great location and easy to find! Very clean, new room, helpful staff. The location is perfect.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the train station and the city centre. Clean room.
good location, very clean, good value for the money, Roberto was very friendly and helpful.
Great location, good price, rather clean.
But nothing special.
Good quality-price ratio.
The hotel was very nice, clean and well situated. Accommodation was also very pleasing!.
Excellent place to stay in Firenze . Very well located . Spotless , impeccable place .

Good location, a friendly helping staff, a well-equipped kitchen.
Immaculately clean no frills budget friendly free wifi.
Very convenient location. Friendly and kind staff.
I couldn't name anything.
Nothing.
Considering the price, it is fine for us to prepare our breakfasts from supermarket closed to train station and Albergo Bencidormi in advance.
The shower didn't have a shelf so you had to reach outside for soap and shampoo.
Nothing. I had a wonderful stay!.
Nothing really - it is a 15th century odd building so can hear various plumbing noises. Really happy with our stay & would recommend it for sure.
Personally I found it a bit claustrophobic. But thats just me.
No elevator but it is on the first floor and the owner will help you with the luggage so it doesn't really a problem.
Small shower, no safe in room.
Having an elevator would be good, as we had our elderly mother with us, who had injured her back.
No bad comments.
Nothing - everything was perfect!.
The room we stayed in was quite small and basic but still fit for purpose so don't let it put you off!.
Noise from the street out side was pretty bad at times.
We were there in april and it is a little bit cold in the room at that
time.
The shower is a little small.
Staff was not very friendly or helpful. She complained to me about other guests and when I asked for instructions to take a bus to the airport she told me she had no idea and to try just going to the train station.
No bedside table. The thin walls - the noice was heard until 12.
Nothing was a deal breaker.
All is good.
The street outside was quite noisy early in the morning, but this was confined to ours and the neighbouring room. Its to be expected in a city though.
There were no problems :).
Walls seemed a bit thin--we heard other people's alarms go off. Not sure if it was from rooms above or what, but very disturbing at 3-4 in the morning.
A bit noisy sometimes. We can hear people speak Italian on the street very clearly (although we do not understand them...).
a bit small room with thin walls.
The room was relatively small and the shower space was very confined. A big person would not fit inside. Furthermore heating was very poor.
The building can be noisy.
Bathroom smelled mouldy and musty.
Noise from street at night.
