  The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. As we had to leave early for the airport, we were given the ... wat mensen zeggen » makings of a breakfast the night before, and coffee was always available from a machine. All in all, a very good place to stay, especially as it is w - Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're not looking for luxury but the basics you need

  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela! AND "NO MOSQUITOS" !!! Free WiFi - Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with some delicious homemade food. Would recommend to others and also return again here.   excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... wat mensen zeggen » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  The accommodation is very new, large and clean with excellent facilities. What made this place special were the hosts Giovanni and his wife. They were so extremely helpful and arranged a trip to etna for myself and my wife along with finding out about all the local transport. This was by far the nicest place we stayed and is in the middle of a bea... wat mensen zeggen » utiful little area of farmland. The breakfast was nice with homemade cakes and Giovanni provided us with some of his own free range eggs! - great place to stay, very quiet at night, and safe car parking, Giovanni was always helpful and trying hard to help as much as possible.. even flexible if you want to stay longer I will definetly come back

  Owner was most helpful and provided the best restaurant recommendation we have EVER had! How the food was supplied at the quality and price I still don't understand. The location seems a bit dodgy at first glance but it is metres from the main drag leading to the atmospheric historical highlights. All in all a pretty cool establishment. - The own... wat mensen zeggen » er was most helpful even though I booked at the last minute. My room was very clean and comfortable. The small balcony outside my bedroom was one of the highlights of my stay- stayed up half the night watching the activities on the plaza outside.

  At first-extremely friendly, hospital and helpful staff and both of them spoke excellent English. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. Everywhere was very clean incl bathroom and toilet. Reception works not 24h, but you get acc... wat mensen zeggen » es with your own keys and it makes you independent. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))

  I liked the owners. They treated me royally and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was beautiful, clean and airy. There was a great bathroom, brand new with a state of the art shower , which also massaged! Plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was lovely , with the high ceiling and beautiful ironwork balcony ... wat mensen zeggen » of a Baroque palace, which it is! The breakfast was typical Sicilian. Fresh espresso coffee and brioche filled with custard!!!!! The location is righ - I liked the care of the staff and their professionalism and competence in receiving and welcoming customers. The bed&breakfast Etnea55 was very nice, in a very quite palace and on the main street of the city centre.

  A lovely B&B. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Secure and within short distance of train and bus station and a ten minute walk to the Duomo. Friendly helpful staff.
