  Just returned from our Sardinian holidays, after a full week at La Jacia. The real value of this hotel is its location and the helpfulness of the staff. About 10-15min walk from the 'center' of Baja Sardinia with plenty of bars and restorants, a supermarket right next to it, and a very short drive to the best beaches of Costa Smeralda. If you have - Our stay was excellent thanks good service from staff: Daniella, Luca, Bibiana... all of them were very professional and make us feel as if we were at home. The hotel is very beautiful, with a confortable rooms (I absolutely recomend superior room with terrace!) The area is excellent, with nature, good beaches, good people, the town very clean....;) In the swimming pool area there are places to sun tan and you can enjoy and relax if you dont want to go out the hotel.   Big, spacious and airy room with lovely big balcony. We were overlooking the pool and the amazing view of the islands. It was very clean and towels were replaced every day with the floors swept and washed also. Breakfast was simple but adequate, staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again.   Hotel villa Gemella is a true gem, ideally located within walking distance from a charming village with a lot of restaurants. A super market, a cafe and some shops are right across the street if you want to get a quick snack, coffee or fruit. Animation team is great, despite that almost no one speaks english, but our 3.5 years old kid had a great time, no matter that he was the only one who did not speak Italian.
