  This is my regular stopping point to be near Venice Airport. The staff are alway very helpful and friendly regardless of time of day. The free shuttle to the airport is also "a nice touch" that a lot of other hotels don't offer.A great place to stop. - The very closest hotel to the Airport.   The price was extremely reasonable, especially after two nights in San Marco. We had an early morning flight from the airport so wanted to move out of the San Marco area the evening before our flight. Bella Onda was minutes from the airport. There is no staff on site but there was a intercom at the front door so that we could contact them as soon ... wat mensen zeggen » as we arrived. They were very helpful getting us settled into our rooms. Breakfast things were available in the room so that we could eat even though - Our mroom in this B&B was completely self-contained. We arrived late on a flight into Venice airport, and we were met at the terminal, and it was only about a five minute trip to the Bella Onda B&B. We were shown to the room, which was large with one bed, and a table set for our breakfast. There was an adjacent kitchen with cold items in the refrigerator (butter, cheese, yogurt) and tea/coffee making facilities. We enjoyed being able to take breakfast without having to leave our room.   Excellent place to stay. People responsible for the B&B are very friendly. Excellent location (walking distance to airport, roughly 1 km). 30 minutes from Piazzale Roma (Venice) by bus 5. Stephano, the proprietor, went out of his way to accomodate me. The Number 5 bus both to Venice and to airport stops nearby. I booked it from the internet on a leap of faith because I was stranded due to Italian strike. Felt I lucked out.

I highly recommend & will come back when I will be in Venice.Few restaurants near by at 10minutes walk
