Less than 5 minutes’ drive from Slane and its historic castle, Newrath Stud & Racing Stables B&B provides self-catering accommodation where guests can experience thoroughbred horses being trained on the gallops. A fully equipped kitchen is provided in each cottage at Newrath, as well as free parking and a flat-screen TV. A welcome basket with breakfast products is provided upon arrival. Horse riding, trekking and cycling can all be enjoyed on the farm site, and guests can even tend to the horses. Many shops, restaurants and pubs can be found within Slane village. The property is set within the World Heritage Centre of Newgrange.

Really well equipped house that worked brilliantly for us as a group of 8 of 30 something'S. Nice touches like cans of sodas and bottles of water in the fridge. Breakfast was plentiful, we topped up with some bacon and sausages from a local shop. Great to have so much space to relax in together. We enjoyed everything about Newrath B&B. It was the perfect accommodation for our family. Patrick & Emma so very friendly & always available to support our needs & questions. We had a most enjoyable stay & would definitely return.

The accommodation was of a very high standard and the breakfast provided was a lovely addition. Excellent attention to detail. Expectations managed perfectly. Comfortable, accommodation, kitted out well and semi self catered breakfast was delicious. Management left no stone left unturned. Everything! Can't fault it at all.. Beautiful accommodation, spacious and very clean. Patrick and his wife were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely horses on site too. Just lovely. Very welcoming and friendly. Freedom to roam around the facilities and prperty. Special little added touches which made you feel special. Very social attmosphere. I loved it. Very high quality accommodation. Beautiful location with lovely grounds to explore. Horses are beside rooms but far enough away that you are not disturbed. The accommodation was lovely, the breakfast provided - local bacon, eggs, bread & cereal - ready to use at your own convenience - super!. Very friendly and welcoming staff, good facilities and just that bit different with the stables ... that you are able to visit. Very friendly personal. Relaxed environment. Lots of space. everything. Great location kids loved the horses and freedom. Lovely accomodation very central to everything. The coffee machine only had a European plug, I let the owner know so should be sorted out for next guests and there were no tea towels. (Everything considered these are very minor grumbles.). Having to leave.. :-(. Not applicable. Only staying one night. N/A. A children's play area f.ex swings/slides would be a bonus. Would have liked if the house had have been cleaned better there was rice on the kitchen floor and broken glass in the children's room which meant that the floors did not get cleaned before we came. There was also problems with the sewage system and we could get the smell through the house for the 3 days we stayed.
