The welcome from Pauline was second to none. We were treated as friends, not customers and nothing was too much trouble. The full Irish breakfast was delicious and certainly set us up for the day. It is a fabulous Hotel, by far superior than its 3* rating, better than some 5* Hotels we have stayed in! The rooms are fantastic, and the staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. Its a lovely warm and welcoming hotel serving wholesome food that just happens to be top notch too!
While there was no live entertainment on the night we stayed there was however, a good lively atmosphere going in the place with the bar quite busy all evening.

Although CityNorth is out of town in Dublin terms, it is yards from the M1 motorway and therefore very convenient for North-South travellers. The car park is vast and has the advantage of being at the front of the hotel building, so arrival and departure is very smooth indeed.

I liked everything about the City North hotel. I had requested a smoking room as my husband smokes and we were upgraded to an executive suite at no extra cost as it was an available smoking room, it was just beautiful, huge, with robes, slippers, fresh fruit, sparkling water etc. We have stayed a few times on the way to or from Dublin airport but this was our 1st time to stay strictly for leisure and it will not be our last, there is a lovely walkway which will bring you to Gormanstoun Castle a
