The hotel was relaxed and the opportunity to chill out in the lounge with afternoon tea provided was very nice. I noticed some other guests - particularly children seemed to really enjoy it. There was ample seating and it was bright and airy - good for reading or chatting!!
The location was good too on the way to Muckross but near enough to town to walk.
There was a lot of menus of local eateries available in the lobby too which would have been very useful had they been pointed out to us...we

Our host Mary was exceptionally friendly and gave us a big welcome on arrival, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, beautiful location, a homely feel without anyone being intrusive, bedroom was an excellent size with turn down service at night with a chocolate left on pillow each evening, a nice surprise. -

Very friendly accommadating staff.
Very close to town centre.
My twin room was spacious, and although the shower room was small it had a very good power shower.
Part of our group were expecting a triple room but were given a huge sized quad room with very spacious bathroom.
Excellent breakfast with lots of choice...fruit juice,cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and then a full Irish breakfast.
I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

We found Marie and Dennis to be extremely Welcoming friendly and informative.The breakfast was more than you could ask for and presented beautifully every morning, it kept us going all day which was great as we had a very busy schedule.The room was both clean and comfortable, We Arrived late in the evening and had made Dennis and Marie aware of our situation earlier in the day,we found them very accommodating on this issue. we travel extensively and would have no problem recommending Lake Lodge

Easy to find on the main road into Waterville. Angela very welcoming and gave us some good places to eat dinner. Room was very clean and the breakfast great - the porridge was fantastic :) -

The Lodge itself is meticulously maintained and our room was perfect.
Breakfast was lovely and our son loved the pancakes, home made scones were also delicious.

I would like to add a few more words that describe brook manor lodge. OUTSTANDING WELCOMING FRIENDLY LUXURIOUS AND THE MOST AMAZING BREAKFAST!! Facilities in thexroom were second to none. I would highly recommend this beautiful place, close to town and with a wonderful view if the slieve mish mountains.
