  We were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival, the room was really beautiful and comfortable. The hotel was ideally located in the centre of the town with everything within walking distance. The restaurant was fantastic and great value for money and the staff were so friendly and helpful.   We loved everything. Stylish and spacious family room (2 adults, kids 8 & 9) with all real and comfortable beds. Relaxing mix of antiques and modern conveniences such as free wifi. Absolutely astounding breakfast - I've had hundreds of hotel breakfasts and this is the very best. From perfect porridge & honey, to rhubard & natural yo... wat mensen zeggen » ghurt, to pancakes with chocolate, to selection of herbal tea leaves, to all the traditional items. We'd nearly have paid the rate just for the food! - The hotel was relaxed and the opportunity to chill out in the lounge with afternoon tea provided was very nice. I noticed some other guests - particularly children seemed to really enjoy it. There was ample seating and it was bright and airy - good for reading or chatting!! The location was good too on the way to Muckross but near enough to town to walk. There was a lot of menus of local eateries available in the lobby too which would have been very useful had they been pointed out to us...we

  My husband and I recently stayed in Lake Lodge Guesthouse and Marie and Denis were very welcoming on our arrival and made us feel at home instantly. This was our first time staying there and we will definitely be staying there again when we are in Killarney. Denis served up a delicious full irish breakfast which was very tasty and plenty on the plate. There was free guest parking and it was very c - We found Marie and Dennis to be extremely Welcoming friendly and informative.The breakfast was more than you could ask for and presented beautifully every morning, it kept us going all day which was great as we had a very busy schedule.The room was both clean and comfortable, We Arrived late in the evening and had made Dennis and Marie aware of our situation earlier in the day,we found them very accommodating on this issue. we travel extensively and would have no problem recommending Lake Lodge

  Loved it! The manager was the nicest lady. She was very helpful and very friendly. The house is beautiful! The pictures on letsbookhotel.com really don't do it justice. We loved cooking dinners here. The location is great as well. Super close to the grocery store and to the town. The house was big , plenty of room for everyone and overall very comfortable and staff very friendly and easy to deal with. I would go again.

  We're just back from only 1 night's stay at this fabulous country house. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to a welcome from Conor, who immediately guessed who we were before we even introduced ourselves! It seemed like he was eagerly awaiting our arrival!. We were immediately impressed with the location, stunning house & beautiful gardens even... wat mensen zeggen » though it was quite a cold but beautifully sunny April afternoon, Conor immediately began advising us to get out and about, exciting us with all the - Bridget and Conor were very welcoming upon arrival at Gleannn Fia Country House. The grounds are beautiful, nestled along a babbling stream in a very peaceful, serene and quiet setting. Aftternoon tea was a special treat, as were the delicious breakfasts. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.   Relaxed, comfortable, luxury accommodation at very reasonable prices. Delicious dinner, excellent standard, lovely wine list. A glass of port comes with the cheese board! Loads of couches for relaxing downstairs by the fire.   Stayed in a self catering holiday home, the house had everything you could need in it, it was perfect for us and the 3 kids. the kids had their own rooms, which they loved! and there was even a sofa bed downstairs for an extra friend.The pool was great for the kids, and staff really friendly. kenmare itself is a great spot, lovely pubs, restaurants... wat mensen zeggen » . Pity we couldnt stay longer, will def. go back! - We stayed in a self catering unit. Loved everything. Wonderful location- very central. Excellent value for money. Beautifully laid out.
