  Excellent location, excellent staff. The room was dated by American standards, but with a nice modern-looking bathroom lacking only an electrical outlet. Breakfast very good, served in the downstairs restaurant. After our first night at the hotel, a serious plumbing problem that apparently had been developing over many years, came to light. All in all, a p - Excellent location. A few minutes walk to Grafton Street. Only about 10-15 min walk to Temple Bar -area or The River Liffey. Very friendly staff. Quite many steps to our room and no lift. Large nice room overlooking the Stephens Green -park. Perhaps a bit pricy but all in all a great place to stay.

  I stayed on the barge with my two children aged 8 and 12. We used to live in Dublin so wanted something "different" to make it more interesting and the barge was certainly that! Trish and her husband (the owners) had thought of lots of "extras" to make us comfortable and to make life easier for us. I had expected it to feel a bit like camping b... wat mensen zeggen » ut I really couldn't have asked for anything more - I would definitely recommend a stay on the barge and hope to return soon. Whilst we didn't use th - Location was great. Hosts were better than great, such fun to stay on this barge and really comfortable. The canal option was so good and our friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new Rugby/ Soccer stadium. Not to mention just a block from the train station to go out to Howth! Cannot recommend enough, wonderful and fun for both of

Ze hebben tevens een zeer goed restaurant aan de overkant van de straat waar je ook het ontbijt nuttigt (en om 5u een gratis glaasje wijn).   Absoluut een aanrader dit hotel. Net iets buiten het centrum maar de airportbus stopt bijv.voor de deur en 5 minuten door het park lopen en je bent in het centrum. Hotel is schoon, ontbijtbuffet is prima en personeel is vriendelijk.   The reception staff were invariably helpful and polite which in branded hotels may not always be the case, and had good tips on places to visit and directions, the room was very clean, the door held open on arrival with a wedge was a very thoughtful touch, as was leaving the window open so the room was airy on arrival rather than stuffy. We woul... wat mensen zeggen » d heartily recommend this B+B to others and hope if the comments about the lack of sausages will not result in a future booking being refused. Great - Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat. We felt very welcome! Highly recommended! My favorite part of our stay was our 5 euro bagged lunch, which was a great deal and

  Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk into the city to visit the sites, shopping and dining. Maurice was also very helpful by zllowing us access to our rolm a little earlier due to our arrival time in Dublin. We've booked another night there when we return from our travels around Ireland. - The location was perfect, so cl... wat mensen zeggen » ose to the centre that you can easily walk there and close to the AirCoach station also. The room was great, the toilet and the shower were very modern and clean. The biggest benefit is that there is a bar downstairs which is very useful for a tired traveller :).

  The room was suprisingly large, clean and bright, and it was equipped with lcd TV, powerful hairdyer and tea or coffee making facilities. For those who love tea, it should be added that tea was of really good quality, and it definitely added extra smile on our face! The receptionist we met on our first day was the best ever, and after hearing we w... wat mensen zeggen » ere not so great with the directions, she even drew the bus routes onto our map, making the navigation easier. I bet everyone else have already praise - The Waterloo Lodge was ideal for my stay as it was 10 minutes walk to rds and to Marion Square (start location of the Dublin city Marathon). I traveled with my wife and our two kids (3 & 5 years old) and the family room we had was ideal, plenty of space. Staff were very accommodating and breakfast was excellent. All in all, we had a pleasant 3 nights stay in the Waterloo lodge.

  This hotel was incredible. I stayed in the Oscar Wilde suite. The attention to detail was beyond compare. This establishment thought of everything, right down to the chocolates. Very small,boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. It was quiet, even though it was in the heart of the Temple Bar area. Could not ask for a better location. I do have one request please, a bat - personnalized service - convenience of location . large room . I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .
