  This is the second time I've stayed in the Shelbourne Hotel and will definitely be returning. Stayed with a friend of mine just for a night away to catch up and do some shopping etc. location is absolutely perfect, a short stroll to Grafton Street, and surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. We were given a beautiful room on the top floor overlooking the Green...we had only boo - Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Everything in this hotel was as you would expect for a 5* hotel.   This hotel was incredible. I stayed in the Oscar Wilde suite. The attention to detail was beyond compare. This establishment thought of everything, right down to the chocolates. Very small,boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. It was quiet, even though it was in the heart of the Temple Bar area. Could not ask for a better location. I do have one request please, a bat - personnalized service - convenience of location . large room . I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

  Staying at The Gibson Hotel was a pleasure. The rooms are fantastic, they are very comfortable and stylish. The shower is huge and again very stylish.   They let us check in early and were very friendly. The two-bedroom was plenty of space for a group of 2 couples. The location is right by the shopping area and a short walk to Temple Bar, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. Daily housekeeping brought fresh towels, which was unexpected.
