  The receptionist Ian was particularly helpful and had good advice as to where to visit during our short trip. The breakfast was good too - nothing fancy but you could help yourself to whatever you wanted. Kitchen and lounge facilities looked good although didn't use them much. The location was ideal as not far from O'Connell Street and within w... wat mensen zeggen » alking distance of Temple Bar although quieter than being right in the centre. Shop nearby to get snacks and drinks. All round enjoyable experience - The staff were extremly helpful before we even got there giving amazing directions from airport on bus and then foot. The private room was big clean n had a nice modern design it it. They were able to store out bags before check in as we got to dubs very early . Would deffo go again if in dubs. Thanks x x

  This guest house was exactly we searched! The bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was clean too and some towels was available in the bedroom. Irish breakfast was very good Catherine was very friendly & helpful ( always smiling :) ) and a great councellor for anything we wanted to know about transports or the city. Th... wat mensen zeggen » e house is about 15 min. walk to O'Connell Street and 2 minutes to a bus stop. We would come back again for sure! - The service and friendliness of the staff was fantastic. Particularly of Catherine, the owner. She has to be one of the most welcoming people we've met. She put a lot of effort into meeting our specific needs and conversation with her was great as well. You probably won't find much better service and care around. It is excellently located just north of the city so it is a 15 minute walk from the buzz of the night life, but located in quiet area of town.

  When I arrived at the Marian Guest House, I felt like I was visiting my "new family ". The atmosphere it's awesome, Catherine and Brian will host you like a member of their family, and you'll have everything you need to have. If you want to feel like home and be a new member of this wonderful Irish family, you shouldn't loose this occ - The lady in the reception is just amazing. She offered me immediately a discount and apologized when realized that the room I booked was not the one I saw in the site. I had a shared bathroom but definitely is a very clean place to stay and somehow you feel that you are in home. She is very helpful too, giving information on everything. I do not have rich experience of guest houses and B&B but this is really good. Value for money +++. and the owner just perfect.

  Our double bedroom was very clean and comfortable. A water heater, some cups and a selection of teas are included. Everything is fairly new. If your stay is focused on visits to the city, the rooms are absolutely fine. Martin is a fantastic, very caring host and prepares a nice Irish breakfast. The buffet offers cereals, yoghurt and orange juice a... wat mensen zeggen » s well. Plenty of information about Dublin is available and Martin is happy to help you plan your visit. Abbington house lies in a quiet street in nor - Martin was very friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond expectations. After booking a day tour, we realized our bags would need to be left at the B&B after checkout. Martin offered to keep them into the evening and even offered the room until our flight time. He cooked a wonderful breakfast each day and made excellent dining and attraction advice. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
