reception area was gorgeous, girls on the front desk were so friendly and helpful. we arrived early and our room was not ready so we went and had a look around the shops, the girl on the front desk rang when our room was ready and our bags were waiting in our room for us.

The staff were unbelievably helpful, I left my phone behind in one of the bars and they absolutely tried their very best to locate it for me, even offered to let me walk around the bar in the morning to see if I could find it. I left my home telephone number behind on the off-chance that someone handed it in, got into the car and drove home to Dublin. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The two day parking for €10 was reasonable. The rooms were spacious and the beds were clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, just a few steps away from great bars and restaurants. Despite this, the rooms were very quiet at night, there was no disturbance from outside noises. -

Really friendly staff! Pretty good location, it is out of the way of things, but Kilkenny is small so it's easy to walk to the shops, castle etc. You can meet some great people here, the atmosphere is really easy going. -
