  reception area was gorgeous, girls on the front desk were so friendly and helpful. we arrived early and our room was not ready so we went and had a look around the shops, the girl on the front desk rang when our room was ready and our bags were waiting in our room for us. our room was gorgeous huge king size bed, jacuzzi bath and very clean. we h... wat mensen zeggen » ad dinner in the hotel the food was gorgeous and the breakfast the next morning was one of the best hotel breakfast iv had in awhile. The staff in the - The staff were unbelievably helpful, I left my phone behind in one of the bars and they absolutely tried their very best to locate it for me, even offered to let me walk around the bar in the morning to see if I could find it. I left my home telephone number behind on the off-chance that someone handed it in, got into the car and drove home to Dublin. When I got home there was a message on my answering machine to say that it had turned up. I cannot recommend the staff more, especially Claire an

  A great stay here. The staff were brilliant and it was difficult to fault this place in any way. Bang in the centre of town and handy for pubs and restaurants as well as the castle and cathedral. When we arrived our room had been set out for someone having an anniversary with towels sculpted as swans on the bed and fresh flowers and fudge truffles... wat mensen zeggen » . We rang down to reception to say we thought we were in the wrong room - they immediately rang back and said 'Our mistake - just enjoy' Buffet style - Located on Patrick Street, which is very central and seems to be no more than 10/15 mins from everything in Kilkenny. Friendliest hotel staff we have ever met, nothing seemed to be any trouble for them Our room (No:224) was very big, very clean and bright. Tea & coffee makings were waiting for us. Breakfast - a comprehensive buffet, with tea & coffee served by the most welcoming waitress we've encountered, never mind first thing in the morning. Parking is available free, on site

  The attention to detail of the staff and the hotel itself was beautifully designed. the hotel romms were beautiful.
