The food was superb and beautifully presented.   The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The location is just outside the the town centre but with a busy fair on, this made the location perfect - peaceful and quiet and right on the Ring of Kerry.   Stayed in a self catering holiday home, the house had everything you could need in it, it was perfect for us and the 3 kids. the kids had their own rooms, which they loved! and there was even a sofa bed downstairs for an extra friend.The pool was great for the kids, and staff really friendly. kenmare itself is a great spot, lovely pubs, restaurants... wat mensen zeggen » . Pity we couldnt stay longer, will def. go back! - We stayed in a self catering unit. Loved everything. Wonderful location- very central. Excellent value for money. Beautifully laid out.

  My husband and I, with our 2 children (10 and 8) have just returned from a 2 week stay there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was well furnished with modern conveniences with spectacular views of the mountains of South Kerry. Activities included horse riding/trekking/lessons, kayaking, mudsurfing, assault course, cycling, archery.   The owner, Tom, was great. Upon our arrival on a Saturday afternoon, Tom went our of his way to find someone to replace 2 bad tires on the rental car. No shops were open, but when we got back from dinner, both tires were replaced and Tom put up the money to pay for them till we checke out. He's a real gentleman and cooks a great Irish Breakfast too! He gave me good advice, and went above and beyond to assist with a problem that I had. I've very glad that I stayed here.
