  We travelled as 4 adults and stumbled across arch house on our way back to Dublin. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything better and the price was great. The apartment was a great size and had to bathrooms with a well equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer which was extremely handy. The staff wer... wat mensen zeggen » e fantastic and even offered to dry our washing for us. We had a full breakfast which was scrumptious. Free wifi was great also. Athlone was a very cu - Only a short walk to Rail and Bus....Mohammed is very eager to please...mention of when Pakistan won the cricket at Melbourne in 1992 before a crowd of 85100 will get you an instant upgrade...guided to Sean's Bar ..900AD...below the Castle...Great B+B...food very good...printed menu in 4 languages...value for money!

  Ideal location for golfers, people who fish, or anyone who wants to visit Athlone town. We were very impressed from the minute we arrived at the B/B to the time we left. The house was beautiful and our host was very welcoming and helpful. She did everything to make our stay good . Rooms were clean and comfortable.There was a games room and a tv r... wat mensen zeggen » oom. Breakfast was delicious with as good a choice as a top class hotel. This family run B/B has all any one would need and we would love to return. - Niamh and Ronan were very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. We used our towels and wanted to re-use them. Niamh left notes to tell us who used which towel. She was so kind. They recommended many different types of eatery and suggested pre-booking. We had 2 beautiful meals out in Athlone. The sat nav co-ordinates were spot-on.

The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep This was a stopover after returning for a holiday in the North so we would not have time to explore the Athlone. Comfortable and quiet bedroom allowing a good nights sleep. Excellent breakfast cooked to order and served till 10 o'clock which suited our late nights! Only a five minute drive into Athlone makes it a very convenient base. Would definitely recommend thhis B& B with no hesitation.

  The hospitality from the time of arrival was second to none with a very personal touch. The room was immaculate. The breakfast next morning was as good as I have tasted in a while.   We were contacted prior to arrival confirming arrival,which was a nice surprise. When we arrived we were greeted at the door . Tea and homemade scones ready upon arrival and Alacoque & Gerry made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Lovely family feel about the place and the owners could not do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent.

  Wanting to visit Athlon, yet wishing to be outside the town center, and The Mill Bar was perfect. The rooms while not overly large we're clean and comfortable. The owner Teresa welcomed us and provided a selection of rooms, then provide us a marvelous option for a bike ride. We ended up down a lovely Irish Lane at an out of the way Neolithic Tomb ... wat mensen zeggen » site which took us back over 5,000 years to read about this ancient site. Returning we cycled to the nearest village to pick up a bottle of wine, (pre - The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was meeting friends in town and they had a taxi booked for me. The rooms were very comfortable and it was just very welcoming in general.
