  This hotel was well located by car, but a good 45 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle car, I would recommend the walk if you want to meet locals, see local shops and houses and get a better feel for the place.The grounds are spacious with beautiful rice paddies surrounding the property. The staff greet you by name and I liked the fact that the manager took the time to meet me and say good bye - We loved everything. The service was amazing and you never wanted for anything. You couldn't put your finger on what exactly was the magic at this hotel, but that's the exact point. You didnt' want for anything, nor did you have to ask for anything. True Bliss.

  Komaneka at Bisma is located in an incredible setting overlooking rice paddies and the pool. The suites are large and have a great balcony. The staff are exceptional. They made us feel like family and we enjoyed them as much as the hotel! We had a one year old with us and they often watched him while we finished our meal. We felt very comforta... wat mensen zeggen » ble having staff babysit for our one year old because he got to know everyone so well while we were there. They also connected us with a driver /guid - Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud. Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool. Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service. The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.

  Beautiful setting, lovely gardens. Perfect location on monkey forest road, seconds from shops and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to monkey forest. Staff were very helpful. Not a huge choice for breakfast and portion sizes smallish but the food was really nice. I ate in the restaurant too and the food was very nice. - The room, the location.

  The breakfast is excellent. The staff were really helpful, helped us with information and made a few phone calls for us. The location of the hotel is perfect, just close to everything in Ubud. We stayed for 10 nights, so we were upgraded to the suite room and it was really good. - This Village is renewed just 3 months ago, so that room is very b... wat mensen zeggen » right, clean and confortable. Also outside the room is a small beauty garden. It's quiet ,relax and not far away from Royal Palace and Monkey Forest.

  The staff was so nice and very helpful! We got into the hotel really late (about 4 am) and they held our breakfast the next morning for us so we could sleep in, without us asking. It's a quick easy walk to the Sacred Monkey forest.
