Yiannis, the owner, was very friendly,helpful and ready to attend all
our needs. Ask him anything you want and he will provide it. The
breakfast was just amazing. We could not eat all that was available to
us. Almost everything was home made. We were surprised when we were
about to go, he gave us plenty of herbs freshly cut from his garden and
a complementary bottle of fresh cow's milk. We would recommend it to
anyone who is willing to experience Greek hospitality at its best:)

The medieval aura that was surrounding the hotel was truly amazing.
At the same time, the feel of luxury and hospitality was there
throughout our stay, from the minor details in the room, up to the

The Mani Peninsula is rural and beautiful and well away from the normal holiday locations. Citta dei Nicliani is an enchanting retreat run by one caring family who really do understand the meaning of making the stay memorable. Very nice place to go with 2 young children (1 and 3). The temperature at Zaroukhla is lower than Greece in General. This means you can be out and about the whole day not having to fear that it will be too hot.

The owner Marianne was a very helpful and warm host. The breakfast was wonderful and the location close to the beach and old harbour was ideal. I did not find the walk into the main town to be a problem.
