  My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! The views over the harbour were stunning and we spent many times sitting on the balcony just sucking in the fabulous views of the harbour with the Bo... wat mensen zeggen » urtzi Castle on the island not far off sure. The room and bathroom were quite large for European standards. There are dozens of restaurants on the pro - Perfect location, nice staff and vivid town. We could enjoy the view to the small island from the balcony. Also the parking was not a problem even if the access to the hotel is limited due to the pedestrian zone starting in front of the hotel. There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere. If we go to Naflion again we'll stay in Agamemnon again and certa

  All of it was perfect; surroundings, buildings and appartment. So beautiful and interesteing with the castle and the restaurationwork of these ancient buildings. Now in beautiful shape. The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

  Location is nice, especially the bungalows which are on the beach. The bungalows although were outdated were very clean with an excellent view on the sea. The staff was very friendly and polite.   It is very nice hotel in the heart of Nafplio with very good design and furniture. My room was quite small but comfortable, clean and cozy! Everything are located in walking distance: bus stop - 3 min, port - 5 min, beach - 7 min, central street - 5 sec. Definitelly above all other rooms in the price category during our stay in Greece (early October). This hotel really reminds me on the 4/5 stars except of 1 fact: it has great kitchen :-). Wifi worked well in the lobby and the owner told us that next year, it will be also in the rooms (the hotel's specific structure makes the task a bit more complex). Covered parking (great for our motorbikes). Quiet and nice view from balcony. Good tavern

  The location of the hotel is charming in the middle of olive trees and is situated in a quiet spot. The buildings are rather new. Our room was well facilitated and very spacious with a nice view of the see and the pool. Super clean and very good air-conditioned. We got room 206. The service of the hotel was superior. Two excellent sandy beaches 100m and 700m away. Peroulia beach restaurant has the best cuisine(highly recommended)! This is a relaxing place, it’s like an escape to paradise, and all that very reasonably priced Fantastic ! ! ! We will be coming back next year. ”

And the only one of the 3 business hotels in the centre of Sparta with a (modest) swimming pool. If you are lucky there is still some street parking left in front of the hotel. Now, with the recent renovations modernizing the rooms, we were even more pleased. It's classy, peaceful, and perfectly located in Sparta.
