area was fabulous, the owners some of the nicest people we have ever
met, and the beach less than a 4 min walk away even for a 4 year old.
The poo -
Yianni & Dimitris are the best hosts you could ever wish to meet .We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was to much trouble .
The quality ( and quantity ) of Dimitris food would be difficult to beat anywhere and with the great food and relaxed atmosphere dining was always a pleasure.
Our apartment was terrific with large balcony and one of the most beautiful views we have ever had anywhere in the world.

The fact that the hotel does not offer breakfast is easil -
First of all the owner is a great guy. He was very helpful, honest and told us everything we need to know about where to swim, where to eat, where to go out.
The room was very clean. The one that we stayed was small but funcional and very cozy.
Wifi was working perfectly.
We highly recommend this hotel.

the hospitality from ms cathrine was amazing , cause i dont drive she went us everywhere with her car, the rooms are comfortable, we cooked our own food in the rooom, the view is incredible, the facilites are so clean. i will go again soon

and the hotel is near everything. Evelin and Vasilis are an amazing
couple and a really apreciate that they took me on tours on the
mountain with their lovely dogs and let me use the water sports they

Absolutely wonderful host - met us at the dock, helped with the luggage, accommodated our family with next-door rooms. He even helped take the luggage back to the boat the day we left - way above and beyond! The wireless connection was excellent at the hotel, which is often not true. The kitchenette was great for making breakfast for the family before leaving for the day. Charming, simple rooms with lovely balconies and private baths.

Nereids Guesthouse was a perfect place to spend a few days in Hydra. We stayed at the deluxe room and it was even better than in the pictures.
The location was a nice 5min walk from the harbor
Things I liked were:
-The room had a very nice interior design with wooden beams on the roof and an excellent view
-Additionally, our room was perfect clean

Nereids is a really charming guest house with amazing views up the mountain and down to Hydra town. The rooms were beautiful (exposed original stone and beams) and clean, and there are numerous terraces from which to enjoy the views. The manager/owner Costas could not have been more friendly or helpful. Highly recommended, although note that the property does feature some decidedly steep steps!

Had only planned to stay 3 days extended it to 5 days, Staff are fantastic, rooms are fabulous and very very clean, comes complete with dvd's for that relax after a days walk up the mountains, coffee making facilities, location is brilliant, so quite.
