De buurt wasalles van verre onveilig, ik reisde in mijn eentje maar zeker geenonveilig gevoel. De locatie van het hotel was prima allebezienswaardigheden waren op loopafstand.   We spent only one night in this hotel, we found the reception staff very kind and helpful expecially for the possibility to check-in by night as it happens. The room was very big and very clean, the air conditioning was work very well (I've been there on September), also free wi-fi is available.   The Achillion is a good mid-range hotel in a slightly seedy part of Athens. It is fortunately not far from the Omonia and Metaxourghio metros, and an easy walk to the National Archaeological Musum. The double-glazing is effective in shutting out street noise. Service was exceptional, a lightbulb being changed within minutes of my mentioning it. The first night we arrived he gave us the keys and told us we are like a family feel at home. I recomend this Villa to families, couples or a small group of friends.
