  Near the airport, large and very well appointed room, we booked a seaview room and thought it well worth it, superlative breakfast includingan orange squeezing machine and Cretan specialites with a notice sayingwhat they were.   the location is excellent, not on a road, so it is quiet. walking distance to the centre of town and the harbour. great access to the archaelogical museum, the bus station that takes you to knossos and all over the island,and the venetian harbour. the rooms are functional, very clean and we had a small private courtyard. simple breakfast, only thr... wat mensen zeggen » ee euros. - The reception is professional. We got lots of wise suggestions from there for our tour. Also the breakfast is good which worth the money we paid. This hostel is a economic choice if you are a young people and dont ask too much.

  The best about this hotel is its location. It is situated in the city center and the main landmarks- the port, the Archeological museum and the bus stop are easily accessible alike with the main shopping streets. There is a computer with Internet connection near reception that you can use free of charge. The staff are very helpful and, if in doubt... wat mensen zeggen » , you can ask them for directions. If the purpose of your trip is tourism, I would strongly recommend Irini. Overall, excellent value for money. - Convenient location to city sights, port and airport. Parking and breakfast option (good value) are also pluses even though I did not use them for this stay. The price, while on the high side, is ok, considering that accommodation in Heraklion is expensive compared to other places in Crete.

  The whole hotel was clean and at a comfortable temperature when it was very stuffy outside. Also, the breakfast was comprehensive (cereal, eggs, meats, cheese, salads, bread, tea, coffee, orange juice). The location is excellent for exploring the centre of Heraklion and is on the main bus route to/from the airport. The staff were very polite and helpful - this was very noticeable of all locals we encountered in C - The staff here was great. When we arrived hungry and tired after 9pm, they recommended a great little place to eat right down the road, away from the hustle and bustle of the City Center (which is also amazingly close and enjoyed the following evening). The rooms are a good size, the shower pressure was great and the balcony was pretty big, complete with a pull out rack for hang-drying clothes. They also pointed us to a drop-off laundrymat nearby.

  Vriendelijke man bij receptie - Innkeeper gentleman was very concerned for our well-being. He was a welcome sight after two days of sight-seeing. Cleanliness was topnotch. Room was spacious. Plentiful breakfast, too. - It was perfect, that there is wi-fi in the hotel and I could use the internet.
