The boss was very helpful in helping us and giving us good travel information. 3. The room was very very clean, though it might not be so new 4. It was cheap to stay there... The location is good: near shops and bus station and the beautiful sunset street - Perfect choice for short stay and walking distance to caldera and to fira. Owner welcoming and friendly, lovely little hotel with good rooms well maintained and each decorately differently. Small continental breakfast, but lovely. Nice little roof top terrace with loungers and seating with good views. For the price which included pick up from airport and transfer to port a little gem.

  Having stayed at Hotel Thira in 2011, 2012 and 2013 we just cannot wait to be back in 2014. Consistently great hospitality, great pricing, perfect positioning (for the entire island) and a fantastic family, well -experienced in looking after their precious guests’ every need, makes the decision to continually return to Santorini and Hotel Thira a... wat mensen zeggen » very easy one. There are not enough superlatives for this fabulous family owned and run hotel (and, for those who want more than the local bus and - Our flight arrived at 7am, yet they accommodated us and allowed for an early check-in to refresh before commencing our exploration around the island. I needed to change a meet-up point for a tour we had booked, and Tony was able to arrange for the pick at the hotel instead!
