  Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. Restaurants abound in its vicinity. Hotel room was enormous ( we got upgraded), clean but styled in the 80's. It had a kitchenette, and 2 bedroo... wat mensen zeggen » ms ideal for families and long staying guests. Breakfast was truly satisfying. For those with heavy luggage, there is one flight of stairs to take you - The room was as advertised, clean with all required amenities. Breakfast was awesome with a wide choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Staff was really welcoming and helpful plus they offer you as much fruits as you want and one free bottle of water daily, which was really fantastic. The location is also just a 5 minute walk from the Dom and central station plus there is a metro station just in front of the hotel. Great experience and hotel!

  The location was terrific. Just a stone's throw from the big cathedral. The lower floor of the hotel is a giant restaurant serving some of the best food in town at rock-bottom prices. I got a room facing the inner courtyard, so although the hotel was in the centre of town, it was extremely quiet. Great for sleeping. The breakfast was tasty, the staff was friendly and in general the room was very comfortable. I would definitely come back to this hotel, and highly recommend it. It is perfect for traveling with children as it has multiple, separate bedrooms. The family room and kitchen are quite comfortable and the views are lovely. This property has obviously been renno - Excellent location practically beside the Cathedral. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the apartment didn't have any features that were not kid friendly like sharp cornered tables, lots of trinkets etc.. We had three children under age four and it went smoothly. They loved looking out the window at all the action outside. The supply of free coffee and a bottle of beer was a nice touch too.   We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. The windows are easy to open and had blackout curtains. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful and the additional breakfast was well worth the price and had lots of va... wat mensen zeggen » riety and nice touches (organic eggs from "happy chickens"). The location is great and lets you pop back to your room for a break during sightseeing. - Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

  Alles was tiptop. Enorme vriendelijkheid van het personeel, heel mooie kamer en luxe badkamer. Het ontbijt was duur (25€) maar voor die prijs had je dan wel elke soort gerookte vis, kazen, brood, vlees, vers fruit en andere dingen. Het was ook handig dat de minibar in de prijs was inbegrepen. Het hotel ligt 2 minuten stappen van het station en ligt... wat mensen zeggen » tegenover de Dom. - Ontvangst, ligging (onmiddellijk naast de Dom), kamer, ontbijt,receptie, parkeergelegenheid (portier brengt onmiddellijk je wagen weg),gastvrijheid, professionalisme, enz.....Kortom, uiterst tevereden, toptop top Blij dit hotel te hebben gekozen en zal dit eenieder ten zeersteaanbevelen.
