  We stayed for one night on our way up through France. Because we arrived at a time when the reception wasn't staffed, I had to ring the hotel for our room number and access code. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, understood my inadequate French and gave me the codes in English.   Central location to explore the Dordogne. Close to the old part of Sarlat. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Our room was not old and tired as some reviews have mentioned. The bedroom had lovely wallpapered/painted walls and very new bathroom.   Great location in a beautiful old town. Our room was under the roof but very cosy. Website stated room with a deck but couldn't see any rooms that had them. Some rooms opened on to a pleasant courtyard. - Everything was perfect for our stay, thoroughly enjoyed and would certainly recommend to friends, we would definately stay there again.
