  Ok so the hotel was 30 meters from the ski lift. Which is great when it's open but when it's closed as it was the day we arrived then its a 15km drive to La Clusaz. We were not aware of this when we booked but the family who run the restaurant were extremely helpful. Although only the son could speak any English (that's as much my fault for not kn... wat mensen zeggen » owing much French) they managed to book us a taxi to take us to and from there each day for 3 days for €180. We got to board on lots of different slop - At the beginning we wanted to stay there for 2 nights, but we were charmed by the place and the family that runs it, specially lovely Gisele, and decided to stay for 1 more week!!! The room was big enough, had kitchen facilities and was cleaned every day, the place is located in the heart of the french alps, and easy to get from it to the attractions of the surroundings.
