We loved staying at this hotel. The couple who own the hotel have
renovated an old barn and were happy to show us the amazing before and
after photos. The room is very quaint and beautifully renovated.

Our favourite accommodation in France. What a wonderful place to stay. Sarah was a wonderful host. The room is spacious and clean with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Fast wifi. Fairly close to Australian war memorials. If you have the option of taking part in dinner and breakfast make sure you do it because the food is all home made and Sarah is a phenomenal cook. Worth every penny. Owner is Delightful to chat to as well despite language barrier.

This is a place of superb unique character. Lovely setting with very
nice gardens by the Marne. Extremely friendly and helpful proprietor.
Essentially simple but very good meals served in a classy setting, and
good vfm at 32 Euros given that a glass of champagne and ample other
wine included. Especially helpful when we had to stay for an extra day
due to my wife's indisposition.

On the nights we stayed, the owners were on holiday so we were left in
the capbable hands of their son who did a fine job. Fortunately he is
also the budding chef and he created two supurb three course meals for

This was a superb hotel, pulling into the driveway felt like you were being taken back in time to a wonderful old French farmhouse, complete with blue shutters, reminiscent of a scene from Charlotte Gray.
The welcome from the family was incredibly warm and the facilities, including the pool and garden were outstanding. It was a place you could relax, from eating breakfast with the others outside to enjoying the spacious gardens. We had a fabulous (reasonable) evening meal on our last night with

We chose to eat at the refuge. We shared a table with the other guests and our host who cooked the meal. Food was excellent - very good value and we enjoyed the French conversation. No problem about having breakfast before our early departure. We would choose to stay there again over hotels nearer the airport -

We received a very warm welcome from the owner. The atmosphere was very relaxed and informal and the staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful.

It was really lovely, the log cabin was very clean and looks like new. The kids loved it very much, with the tipis, the ponys and the saloon it was just perfect. It was really quiet and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate twice at the saloon and the food was delicious. We would definitely go there again. Perfect for Family's!

Experience a delightful French family and a very comfortable farmhouse.
Excellent food can be had at breakfast or at dinner and from the photos
on the wall I gather the husband has received some well-deserved awards
for his cooking.

A very peaceful, countryside location. The small castle is pretty and our family room in the annexe was very large and modern. The swimming pool and table tennis were an added bonus as was the communal lounge/diner. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere so relaxed. We would love to return and stay in one of the beautiful rooms in the castle.
Breakfast, served in the castle, was great.

The price of the hotel was excellent. The owners were very friendly and
accommodating about the fact that we had been delayed at the Eurotunnel
terminal in Folkestone and had therefore arrived late for the evening

This is a little gem. Completely newly refurbished. Beautiful room, bathroom and perfect bed. All to very high standards. Quiet location. Parking free and close by. A good restaurant in house with perfect service. Wifi free in your room. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for an unbeatable price. I travel a lot and I highly can recommend it.

All staff delightful and helpful. Loved the setting and the fact that all the rooms faced the lake. We asked for a quiet room and we got one. This is the second time we were there and we enjoyed our stay again. Staff is very friendly, the restaurant and breakfast very good. And the location; wonderful! The lake gives tranquility even in high season. We even saw a beaverfamily close to the terras.....

We had a balcony overlooking the cathedral which was lovely especially
at night with the lights glowing. All members of staff were extremely
helpful and seemed to want go that extra mile to assist us. Old
fashioned "nice". We tend to worry about how our dog is
received but we needn't have worried as the staff also made him very

Excellent, helpful staff. The location is very central, being ideally
placed to enable one to leave the car in the car park. With Paris just
over an hour away by train it was ideal. The room was lovely and the bed
extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the free newspapers and magazines and
the minibar (free) was refilled with soft drinks every morning. For four
nights it was very much 'home from home' and I expect that we
shall return.
