We stayed at Le Domaine de la Frenaie en route to Calais and regretted
that were unable to stay longer. Our room was beautifully decorated and
nice and warm.There was secure off road parking and a lovely garden to
enjoy. Breakfast was very good and Monsieur Jospin could not have been
more helpful and welcoming. There is plenty near by to enjoy and I hope
to go back for a longer stay.

The location was brilliant, on a quiet street close to the pedestrian centre of Lille.
It is a 4 guest room B&B in a 140 year old town house - but what rooms and what a house. The décor was faultless and the standard of cleanliness up with the best we have ever encountered - anywhere!

Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay. This was our second stay at Bienvenue Chez Nous and was as good as the first. Conveniently situated a hundred yards to the main square of Bergues with its bars and restaurants. Easy, free, parking right outside the hotel or in nearby streets. Friendly proprietors. Good quality breakfast. Free WiFi in the room, c.3Mbps. -

We were greeted with a warm welcome by an English speaking host. The Farm was very easy to find with the sat nav coordinates.
The family room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a separate lounge area and we were encouraged to make use of the kitchen facilities to make hot drinks.
Cambrai is a 15 minute drive away for dinner, but easy to find and well worth the trip.
Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
Nothing was too much trouble and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.
