  We stayed 2 nights - Laure met and greeted us on arrival - a very warm, friendly and helpful person. Nothing is too much for her to do. The 2 rooms she rents out are at ground entry level and perfect for coming and going without disturbing anyone. There are 2 choices of recently renovated rooms to rent and they both have separate lounges ...Lau... wat mensen zeggen » re spoils you with her home cooked biscuits and cakes and a great breakfast! she also will drive and pick you up from the train station. Well position - We liked the warm welcome by Laure, even though we arrived a bit early and were asked to take stroll in Epernay, which was nice.The room was as expected, nicely furnished, very good bed. We knew that the toilet was behind the curtain and the shower in the room and it did nit bother us. We had dinner and Laure prepared a nice meal starting with tomato soup, then tarte with salmon, meatballs in tomato sauce, cheese platter and a cheese cake accompanied by a bottle of Champange.

  Our rooms on the ground floor (a former stable in the long distant past) of this charming property were artistically decorated and very comfortable. In a wonderful hidden position with a large lake populated by various bird life including geese and a pair of Australian swans. Our delightful host Sabine was very knowledgeable about the Champagne ... wat mensen zeggen » area, and advised on a number of local champagne producers. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there, which gave us plenty of time to explore the sur - Everything! Our room (superior suite) was spacious and clean. Our hosts were welcoming and very friendly. They prepared us a beautiful home cooked meal which we shared at their family table as we had arrived on bikes and were too exhausted to go out in the evening. We had free range of the property which includes a beautiful lake with a flock of geese and ducks. We fell in love with it all and would look forward to going back again if the opportunity arose.

  Zeer enthousiaste en zorgzame gastvrouw / eigenaresse. Gunstige maar ook rustige ligging voor grote diversiteit aan bezoeken in de champagnestreek. Mooie, schone en rustieke kamer(s). Prima bedden. Verzorgd ontbijt. - Heel vriendelijk, om alles kort te vertellen volgende maal ga ik terug! Super om er zijn.

  Arrived after a long journey very tired and hungry, hotel was just what we needed! Unfortunately it was a Sunday so most restaurants were closed but the owner pointed us in the direction of a couple that were open. Room was clean and tidy and bigger than most we have stayed in on our travels in France!!! Very fresh, warm croissants, pancakes and ... wat mensen zeggen » homemde cake for breakfast which was lovely and very nice coffee, not too strong which you sometimes get in France!! Overall a lovely stopover and wou - This quaint charming little hotel is just off the main square near all the bars and restaurants. Our room was delightful and can only be described as unique with all the little personal touches. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choices of pastries and cake, mostly home made. We parked within 5 mins walk but moved the car closer after 7pm for convenience of loading the following morning.

  Elizabeth, the host, welcomed us into her home and was very knowledgeable & generous answering any questions about the area. She hosted a very memorable dinner on our first night, which she also cooked, and her omelets for breakfast were just superb. I hope we can go back one day. - House and gardens are lovely.
