  I was very luck to be on the top floor with a view on the Madeleine so it was very pleasant and quiet for a busy part of Paris. The hotel is located near a few metro lines and even better close to Gare St Lazare which is ideal for travel. Variety of restaurants nearby, budget and expensive ones. Excellent location: the hotel is in a nice area. Main attractions is in within walking distance (10-45 minutes), or you can use subway (5 lines are next to hotel). Rooms have normal sizes for a comfortable staying. Soundproofing (there was some trafic noise from the street, but no noise from neighbors).

  We spent 3 days here with our three children -- 14, 11 & 8. The apartment was spacious enough for us to be comfortable, including a bunk bed in one of the rooms. Upon being dropped off on a Sunday afternoon, the taxi driver asked if we were sure this was the place as the entrance looked a bit odd and suspect and the street was expectedly dead ... wat mensen zeggen » for a late Sunday. However, the area is very convenient and we spent the three days walking to all the places we wanted the kids to see --- Louvre, Ei - We traveled with 6 people to Paris and were very pleased with our apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped so we could eat breakfast and a light dinner in our room, a grocery store and Patiserrie were a 5-minute walk a the most for our bread and other necessities, the beds and bedding were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, the security was excellent, we had a great view of the garden, laundry machines were in our kitchen so very convenient, the refrigerator was large.   Great location 5 minutes from the entrance to the Louvre and Metro, and walking distance to many attractions right in the middle of Paris and safe at nights when walking around. We were only travelling for a weekend so had small, light bags and this hotel suited us well... if travelling with larger bags I would consider other options as the elevator is very small and is not accessible from the ground floor.
