  This hotel is really underrated on letsbookhotel.com - it is fabulous. We were upgraded on arrival to a gorgeous suite with a private sun terrace on the fourth floor, with a playstation and so many amenities. The gym was great as well, with lots of equipment. The staff was immensely friendly, though one had to be patient because during late August... wat mensen zeggen » less staff than normal was on hand. The area was dodgy a bit, but very multi-cultural and a not so commonly explored/seen area of the real Paris.   I did not expect much from this hotel when I booked as I just needed a place close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord so that would be convenient for me to catch the trains to Strasbourg and Antwerp. Jan helped us confirm our reservations with a tour package and then emailed me confirmation, such a relief to have it handled so capably! The hotel is very close to both train stations which - A modern clean hotel very close to the station with interesting sights and walk nearby especially the canal. Montparnasse is a 20 minutee stroll away. The tour bus stops almost outside and of course the metro is across the road. We had room 604 which us at the rear with a balcony and we would recommend this room notwithstanding the fact that is one of the more expensive rooms

  A big surprise in Paris ! Quite well located just in front of the Gare de l'Est, the Hotel offers clean and well-designed bedrooms. Although it is located in a busy street, the silence inside the room is remarkable. I had the chance to get a suite for a relative cheap price (86 €) but I may think that the standard rooms may be a bit small... Very comfortable bed and a really modern and clean room. The location is great, we walked to most of the places we went to and you can get right down to the quarter Latin in about 40mins. If you prefer not to walk gare d est tube is about 30 seconds away from the hotel door. I would definitely use this hotel again.

  Very nice hotel. Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed, delicate bathroom, friendly staff. We had our baby with us, and the hotel offered a baby cot free of charge. Also, the location is great. Just around the corner you have Place de la Republique with several good places to have breakfast / brunch. Our favourite was Café de la Republique. I.e. this is a good locatio - The staff were really helpful and were happy to put our stroller in the cloak room each night so we didn't have to struggle with it in the tiny elevator. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs.
