  We chose this hotel because of recommendations submitted by others to the letsbookhotel.com website. We were absolutely delighted with our stay of six nights. The people at the front desk were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were on the fifth floor with view of the top 1/3 of the Eiffel Tower and thought that was delightful. We ... wat mensen zeggen » had a twin room which was "large" by Paris standards; the bathroom was large as well with double sinks, nice shower and tub and a view of the Tower as - 1. The staff were really great and very helpful. They even provided assistance for our restaurant reservations which I truly appreciate as I've seen them get out of their way just to help us. They were also very courteous. Special thanks to Joanna who took care of the reservations, Emma who referred me to joanna as well as to the nice Man on the night shift (I forgot to ask for his name but he would definitely know who he is).   The hotel is on a quiet street just off main boulevards. Very near the Sorbonne and about 10 mins walk from Notre Dame. Very well situated for a direct metro link from Gard du Nord to Odeon.   The hotel is really good location to walk from as a base. The area was good. Whilst the hotel is not on the prettiest street, it's only a couple of streets away from lots of good restaurants, shops and cafés and is literally at the exit to the station. You cannot get lost. Because it's so central, there are always people wandering around too, so y... wat mensen zeggen » ou feel safe. The room was great. The decor especially. It's all floral and matchy with the bedspread. The bathroom was tiny but new and clean with a - Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame and all the restaurants and bars in the Latin Quarter. I was on my own, going out every night and felt perfectly safe walking the streets back late. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and bars perfect for breakfast or dinner if you werent up for straying too far after a full day of exploring the city. The staff were lovely even the poor night staff who had to come down from reception late every night to let me in.

  All of the staff members were very friendly and had cheerful attitude. They helped with everything and randomly offered us hot tea or coffee at anytime of the day. We had a balcony in our room and were able to climb out to enjoy the view! The toilet and towels were cleaned and changed everyday. However, the facilities were nothing fancy.
