  The staff were friendly and helpful, and all requests were dealt with efficiently and with a smile. That included phoning a restaurant for me to confirm reservations that I had made through a website. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. In the beautiful neighbourhood of St Germain des Pres on the left bank. I was close to the metro, close to Notre Dame and the hop on/hop off tour was right near the hotel too. Made touring Paris so easy! I booked a larger room - I thought it was perfect for one person. I think two people would have been cramped - but for me it was great (besides who needs a large room when you're in Paris?) I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.

We always have fond memories of the delicious breakfast in the cave. The rooms were small but beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and fresh.

  Angelique ,our receptionist could have not have been more helpful! We arrived Saturday night, and had us booked into room 01 - unfortunately this is for disabled and although room was good, bathroom was set up for disabled person, with no cubicle or tub! everything open! Angelique, managed to give us a triple for same price for 1st night and then ... wat mensen zeggen » to our booked double (52) on following 2 nights! Can´t comment on Breakfast ,as we love to buy fresh bread & coffee/juice in the morning and make - Very clean, intimate rooms. Have to mention that the people make this hotel a well worth stay. Reception staff, particularly Angelique and house made staff were courteous and attentive to all our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking at budget value for money accommodation

  This is such a lovely, small hotel in a fabulous location for touring Paris on foot, centrally located to most of the major sites and attractions. The staff is warm, friendly and most helpful. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and a welcome respite from the busy city. We would return witho - We booked from a courtyard where our apartment had fallen through, in the very nice neighborhood where it and Chomel are located, t 8:30 p.m. Arrived at 8:40. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.

  Staff: The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. Breakfast staff was very nice and helpful, especially in these days when the breakfast time was managed by a young man, whose name unfortunately can not remember - the whole "organization" was unnoticeable and really friendly. The room was very clean and relatively large (for Paris), but the sofa folded for sleeping to the teenager filled the whole free space, so four - We staid for 9 nights - rather a long strech for tourists. The hotel was good, rooms clean and functional (not specious as we anticipated), the breakfast was excellent, the location - outstanding. We would like to particulalry commend the receptionist named Jehen, who gave us excellent service, was extremely helpful with recommndations pf where to go or where to eat around the hotel. She was by far better than all the others who attended the reception counter, who's service keft much to be desi
