  Our room was near the back - it was large, light, modern, with a spacious bathroom, good shower, good coffee maker/espressso machine (once we had figured out how to use it). Noise wasn't a problem. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location - walking distance from old town. Plenty of restaurants nearby (and a great boulangerie 50m down street).... wat mensen zeggen » Paid parking onsite. - reception staff were very helpful,the hotel is in a very good position, five minutes walk from the station & any easy walk to the old town.. We did have some issues but on the whole it was a comfortable stay.

  My friend and I spent one night in Rennes on our backpacking trip. Le Magenta was the cheapest place we could find (cheaper than hostels) and wow, it was a win for the money! I wo - Lovely and well-situated hotel very close to train, bus and metro stations. Room was well-sized, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and had good knowledge of the area, though I don't know if anyone there speaks English or any other languages. Good if you are on a budget, and though it's small, it doesn't have that budget hotel feel. Free WiFi!!!

Laetitia gave us a friendly welcome and helped us solving some problems in a very professional way. The appartment is situated in the center of the historical Rennes. We really appreciated how she accomodated our 14 month old daughter (she brought extra linens, a crib, a baby bathtub and a high chair). I
