for what we were hoping for. We loved it!

Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful the appt was beautiful inside very clean and well furnished the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless very well positioned for tourists highly reccommended. The weather was very wet and Nicole was so helpful in finding and booking suitable restaurant for us . The taxi transfer which she arranged was also first class and good value reliable . This was my third stay at Almandine. Lov it. Location is perfect, just off the main square and 5min walk from the Charles bridge. Easy to reach all the sites from here. Staff was so helpful, and the food was terrific. Apartments were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.

Liked all the usual bits - nice apartment, comfortable, quiet and modern.
The real standout was Vaclav, the Manager. He is a real gem. We had the misfortune to pick up a puncture in the wheel of our hire car. Vaclav noticed it , and without us asking, volunteered to help. So that our stay. In Prague was not affected, he did the whole thing for us

Staff was nice. Bed comfy. Room was large with large bathroom. Location was near the castle. And because it was up the hill, it was quiet (except when the men started weed-wacking at 7 am on Sat). We got lots of exercise walking up the hill instead of taking the bus (wore off the good Prague beer). Enjoyed Karlstejn's castle, too, and the Plzen Urquell beer tour. Check the English tour times before you go. We struggled with the German :-)

We wanted to stay a second night, but we knew there would be very little chance that a room would be available, and for good reason. It is a wonderful hotel and we will be back.
