  So I messed up the booking... but they were amazing sorting it out! We got there and we realised we booked for the weekend after. The apartment house was full, but they had rooms in the hotel and they sent us over not making us pay a penny. Amazing people, great attitude!   My wife & I were pleasantly surprised at this small boutique hotel. It is located right in the middle of Prague's Old Town and close to Charles Bridge. All major attractions are within an easy walk (even for a pair of middle aged people). There are great restaurants right on the doorstep or again an easy walk to the square. Shopping is great! ... wat mensen zeggen » The room was spacious and as we were meeting our daughter in Prague - it provided privacy in a Family Suite. We would highly recommend the Aurus Hotel - The staff made Aurus. The girl on reception while we were there (Marina I think, 10th to 12th May) was absolutely brilliant. She was so helpful and seemed happy to help. It was a pleasure to deal with her. She deserves a big bonus as we'd recommend Aurus based on her welcoming and helpful nature! :) There was a little cleaning lady also who seemed very happy and nice.

We were able to check-out around 9pm to catch a midnight train as no one had booked for that night so that was handy. It was the best accomodation in Prague in my 10 years experiences with tourism in this city, I strongly recommend that for the young family with a baby.
