I was pretty amazed, honestly. The hostel is designed and furnitured very tastefully, the staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. Great, helpful, friendly staff. Very cool old building with character and nice, wood antique furnishings. I stayed in a private room and it was spacious but also cosy. The hostel is to far from the city centre for walking but Prague has a great transit system so you just walk a 100m down the road and you have lots of options of trams.

Most excellent, friendly, and helpful staff I've ever met. :) Attendant and active, taking care without being intrusive. I'd go back only for that reason. Good instructions on how to get and use the keys, find your room etc. Good location near the central Republic square with Náměstí Republiky metro station and the Na Příkopě main pedestrian street.

Really enjoyed the free breakfast. WiFi connection was good. Everything was kept nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. - Breakfast! Included in the price and a good range of stuff. Nice cereals (not just the usual cornflakes), ham/cheese, a range of bread and rolls (brown and white!), yoghurts etc.
- Great location. About 15min walk from station, and only 5ish mins from main square.
- Very clean - I saw staff cleaning the shared bathrooms sometimes twice a day. They were always clean, which is not always common with hostels!

This was in a good location, with several restaurants and bars across the street and a row of shops and restaurants only a block away. The tram stop to downtown was also very close, although we found it quite easy to walk downtown. It was very quick to get to and from the main train station as well. Easy walk to the TV tower. We loved this place.
