Villa Kastel is a really **** hotel. The stuff is very kindly and helpful. The suite was big and comfortable, the sofa bed was an extra-large double bed... the heated swimming pool was clear and warm. Everything was perfect, I have no any cause of complaint. -

Absolutely loved this place. THe hosts were simply amazing. Thoughtful and thorough. It was just so sad we only got to stay here for the one night. On our return to Zadar we will definitely stay here longer and will try to saty at this apartment.

Option to swim right in front of the hotel. Fabulous food including fresh fish cooked outside on a purpose built brick oven with hotplate. Hotel owner went out of her way to accommodate our needs. I had never heard of Zadar before seeing the location on Ryanair. The hotel room was of a good size, very clean, very comfortable and we paid an extra £10 per/night for a sea view which was worth it. The restaurant was elevated with excellent views across to the old town.

The staff were amazing, answering all our queries, and helping us arrange fun things to do whilst in Zadar; the food was delicious, the best fish platter and best breakfast buffet all holiday, and really great room service, with champagne on arrival to celebrate our wedding anniversary overlooking the old town from our balcony. 9 kuna bus trip into town made this a nice quiet haven to relax after seeing the sites. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and spacious. There is easy, free parking if you are arriving by car (I cannot imagine how you would get here without a car). The studio apartment was quite big, with a proper kitchen. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and gave us directions to town, the grocery store, etc.
