Very helpfull staff that arranges everything (transport, daytrips, meals) in fluent English. Quiet location. - The view from the room was amazing.   Stay in River View Hotel. Yangshuo is quite a small city but I really liked the location! Very charming place with a very nice balcony just in front of the Li River. Next to the hotel there is a small local market where you can buy souvenirs and stuff and it is also 5 min walk to animated streets with bars and restaurants. I stayed there 3 days and they helped me organize the visits I wanted to do with the time I had (if you want to fully enjoy the city, the - The location was good -- close to the action but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise -- it was on the river. Reception staff, particularly Angela and Lucy, were very helpful -- arranging several tours for us. Room and hotel could use some tlc, ie we had a cracked sink, water leaking from our toilet and some broken tiles in the bathroom. However, value was pretty good for the money that we paid. The restaurant had good Western and Chinese food,

  It was very clean and comfortable! It was its money worth! - I like the receptionist staf. They can speak english well and they are very helpfull, especially for booking the tour at the very late night, and we can book a massage from this hotel, and the massage was great! You should try it!
