- Great location. Walking distance from Dadonghai Beach. Lots of eating places close by. The area is quite lively at night. Also, not very far away from the railway station. - Robert is very friendly and a very useful guide. He'll help you plan your vacation and go out of the way to help you. - Great value for money. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Hot water is there all the time.
alle beoordelingen » I would really recommend this hostel. The staff was great and very helpful with arranging tours around the sanya. The location was good and within walking distance of many sites.beach and shops. Street BBQ was located in the fishing villeage, so you could get good food very late. My favourite is the roof top garden where you can be a couch potato. The hostel was clean and efficient. The staff were amazingly helpful, explained which buses to get, how long walking to places would take, and gave hints on how to beat the crowds for the major attractions. The rooms are also really nice well laid out and very secure.captain's house is ideally placed for Da dong beach, only like 10 minutes walk away, and there are a local villeage for food nearby. I had such a lovely stay at captain house. The "family vibe" everyone goes on about is so true, and I made such wonderful friends there. The location is excellent and whether you do your own thing or head on beach with everyone else the staff (all well-travelled) are happy to always happy to advise. Definnnitteellyyy coming back soon. The location is ok. It's 7 mins walk from the beach,30 mins walk to downtown, 12 mins walk to bus station.The breakfast in the morning was a good basic selection, I like everything about this hotel!. The staff was really kind, they helped me all the time and tried to make me feel like home. The hostel is really nice and has a great ubication really close to the beach and to a nice fisher village that transported me to the real China among all the resort of the island. Service was mostly friendly and efficient. Close toLuHuiTou moutain,xiaodonghai beach and 10 min to Dadonghai beach. Roof-top garden was lovely to relax in and to play Games. staffs are super friendly, super nice. the location is great, 5 mins walk to Dadonghai beach if you know the way. 2-3 mins walk to the fish village dinning area, tons of small restuarants to choose from and the prices are a lot cheaper than other places in sanya. The hostel is in a ten-minute walk from the DaDongHai beach, staff speaks english well. If you want to hobnob with young people from allover the world this place is for you, if this is a peaceful rest you`re looking for, you`d better choose smth else :). Sanya can be a hell. Unfriendly huge modern hotels far from everything. Captains House is a heaven hidden in a small genuine fisher village. The staff is top class. Speaking perfect english and so helpfull. What they can do for you they will do. Staff is exceptiobally good, manager Tom speaks fluent English, it is a valuable asset to teh hotel guests as You need to have everything written in Chinese and english to show taxi or bus drivers to get around. Beach is 5 minutes walk. very friendly and helpful staff very decent level of English close to the beach (5-10 min walk) double room was very big provides beach towels, hats and umbrellas. A home on the trip with typical hospitality and kindness.you can't miss it. Nice room, cheap and clean. Nice living area and roof terrace. HELPFULNESS. Cheap prices only. The pillows were a negative for me as they were very uncomfortable. the only complaint we had was the shower, which had more water coming out of the side than it did out the nozzle. it's a bit far from the bus station (I wouldn't mind walking that long if I didn't have a large suitcase),take taxi would be easier. Rooftop was very nice although they had beautiful birds in tiny cages. There were some problems with electricity once. The day before departure we were we were resettled to the nearby hostel without explanation, without any extra fees though. The area around hotel is not very spectacular so to say but price and staff of the hotel compensates this inconveniences. not very easy to find can't pay with a credit card. I recommend to confirm room availability shortly before arrival (e. g. delayed flight). Roof terrace could be tidied up to make it nicer Hotel was cold and damp. THE CLEANING LADY THROWS YOUR FOOD AWAY LEAVING JUST THE PACKAGING! VERY SMART?. Stink, stink, stink, bugs, bugs, stink and some bugs. All the clothes that I took out of my backpack got this smell of mould that was hard to endure in the room. The smell didn't disappear for weeks, until I did the laundry. And the hotel was far from the city and restaurants.
