I wanted a luxury business hotel, and the Langham provided both the luxury and the business facilities, plus excellent food, along with a delightful service ethos that desired only to excel.   I was in this hotel in business and spend there two really good night. it was amazing room,I was in the club floor.One of the most decorated rooms the bed was good and comfortable. two tv's. i really enjoyed my stay. and will be back for sure.   I just loved the whole time while staying at Oakwood. They try there best to cater for western cultures. There staff were just so helpful. The cost of drinks in the hotel bar were a little expensive but that's what you expect in an outstanding hotel. I have travelled the world and this hotel rates as a great hotel. If you are going to travel to Guangzhou stay - Easy and cheap (19RMB) travelling by cab from Guangzhou East Railway Station - especially if arriving or leaving at night. Large variety of places to eat outside hotel. Short bus ride to Canton Fair. Washing facilities(need instructions for use in English though). English was well spoken by front end staff. Comfortable beds!!

  I was impressed, didn't expect too much from my usual experience with Chinese Hotels. One thing I know for sure after staying at the Somerset, I'll be a loyal customer from now on. This is a 4 starts hotel with a 5 stars service. Made feel home.
